Hyperthyriodism?

by nitesh1us, Jul 22, 2008 04:12PM
Dear Doc,
After many years of suffering various symptoms (CFS, burning feet, dry skin, short term memory, chronic yeast, insomnia, etc)
I believe now I may be on the right track. I am currently on a cortisol for adrenal disfunction and nystatin and mutivitamins due to mineral and vitamin depficiencies . These seem to be doing nothing. However I believe I might have Hyperthyroidism which my  doctor may be overlooking.
TSH 0.695
T4 free 1.92
morning basal temp 96.4/96.4/96.1 on three days
B12 / pantothenate/Zn/Choline/Mg deficient
depressed cortisol levels AM
elevated cortisol levels evenings
lead levels elevated 21yg/g

What is you opinion? should I persue the Thyriod angle? My life is miserable and any suggestions would be much
appreciated.thanks

The TSH is completely normal and the FT4 only minimally elevated and not likely significant.  Would not think, based on this, that there is a thyroid problem but you could ask your endocrinologist to retest in 6 weeks to make sure there is not a pattern developing.
