One member said he couldn't find specific information on the upcoming Vertex clinical trials for Non-Responders.

yes I was looking for the site and once again this forum proved to be the best thing I have ever done.
A few people steared me in the right direction.
I am checking the site every couple days to see when they might start to recruite people and hoping a clinic near me is in the study.
I say this alot, it's from the heart

Please don't rely on that website for locations. call hepatologist & teaching hospitals GI research depts in your area and even citys within a few hundred miles to see if they will have the trial. The clinicaltrials.gov website for the prove 3 vertex trial just getting under way did NOT have most of the sites posted. best of luck

I'm on the list at Cedars-Siani hospital in Los Angeles, awaiting the start date which should be around September...

From my contacts at Vertex and at the clinical trial site, If I can make an important suggestion to EVERYONE trying to get into the non-responder trial, quickly gather ALL documents possible regarding your treatments, blood work, tests, etc... especially liver biopsies and the date of those biopsies and ASAP mail them, fax them or put them on a CD in JPEG format and mail it to the clinical trial you will try to enter.

This is was what got me on the list right away. And remember, you will have had to have had a liver biopsy within the last 1.5 years or they will not accept you. Space is limited! Time is of the essence. Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock.... Good luck...

You say "start recruiting people". Don't just go by what the site says. They are recruiting people already. They recruited me almost a month ago!
