Blood blisters on genitalia...what is this?

by kara2b, Jul 22, 2008 08:44PM
My boyfriend of 8 months and I have been sexually active and occasionally have unprotected sex.  I noticed a small blood blister on the outside of my vagina, but paid no attention because I shave my pubic area and thought it was just an injury from that.  The blood blister was there for several months until a couple weeks ago when it became swelled and I popped it...it bled off & on for 2 days.  Well, the last time my boyfriend & I had sex, I noticed he had 3 of these blood blisters on the shaft of his penis.  I don't know if I'm being paranoid now, but since we had sex 2 days ago, I've had a fever of about 100 off & on and I'm having tenderness in my abdomen.

Does anyone have any idea what this could be exactly?  I know I need to go to the doc, but my job doesn't allow me to take off right now since it's our busy season.  Maybe someone here could give me a clue?

Thanks!

Kara

I have no idea what that is.

Are they in correlating areas?  Like are his in the spot on his penis that would come into contact where yours was on your vagina?  Maybe something is getting pinched during sex?

You should get it checked.  Call Planned Parenthood or an std clinic and see if they have extended hours which might make it easier for you to go.
