Crazy mutt!!

by mlb1234, Jul 22, 2008 11:07PM
This is getting ridiculous...my dog is eating all the tomatoes off my tomato plant again!!  Before, he would wait until they were ripe, now pink and green ones are mysteriously disappearing too.  Tonight when I went out back he quick grabbed a green one off the grass and ate it real fast as if I was going to try to take it away from him!!  I cannot imagine they taste very good at this point.  Does anyone else have a dog that does this or is mine just a big piglet????

LOL!  Well, my dogs never hit the tomatoes, but we had one dog who regularly pilfered the strawberries in the spring - only the ripe or almost-ripe ones of course.  The dog had impeccable taste.  Later on in the summer and after strawberry season, she went out every morning and gently plucked two ripe jalapenos for breakfast.  Can you imagine?!  She only did that for a couple of years, so maybe she needed vitamin C or something.  I'm just glad she outgrew it.  :-)

Oh my gosh - a jalapeno????  That is too funny! lol  My dog definitely does NOT have impeccable taste like yours (I wish!) - rabbit "droppings" are his favorite snack outside!! It's so GROSS!!!!
