teething

by Tima, Jul 23, 2008 02:45AM
My twins are 4.5 months now and one of them has started to chew on the bottle nipple. Just wanted to get an idea when your kids started teething and signs to look out for.

i thought my daughter started teething around then because she had days where she'd chew much more than others, sometimes it seemed like her gums were swollen, unexplained runny nose, etc... she didn't get her first tooth until 5 months later at 9 months :) Doesn't mean they're not technically teething. it must be very uncomfortable to have the teeth develop and move up through the gums. i just think my daughter's move very slowly. even the few teeth she has took very long to fully cut through.
