I don't want to go back to that place

by lonote, Jul 23, 2008 09:27AM
Hello friends. I coughed so hard w/ my asthma I fractured a couple of ribs. We are talkin painful. So the
doctor gaveme some diladud. But it wasn't cutting it, so he gave me some oxycocdone 15's. I've never had
them before. s pretty strong stuff huh? Well it was two weeks ago and I'm ready to downgrade these meds. I'm
educated enough about this addiction ****. Its like washing hair. Lather, rince repeat. I don't want t return to hell ,
again, although  times the meds are necessary, I'm not playin it out the 4-6 weeks it takes to heal  this thing. I'll
be a hurting wd'ing woman, and it will be my own fault. Today I feel I can get by without the  narcotics. So i'm going
for it.  Ibuophren, naproxin and I will be comfortable I did it yesterday, coulden't get out of bed from being on pain
meds again. You know, feeling those w'd's creeping in. 'Im not letting it go into full blown wd's so I cancome out
here sniffling, when I could have prevented it. So heres to to weeks and nipping it. Wish me luck, although I'm
pretty head strong on this one. Mykids already lost their dadthis year to cancer. I need to be here. Pray for me,andI hope your all **** well. Love Cathy

Cathy,

I'm so sorry, you've had a rough year and now this. I know you can do this. Broken ribs are so painful. I wish you the best and please message me if you need anything.

Hugs,
Melissa

Absolutely no problem saying a prayer for you....you were one of the first people I saw posting here over a year ago - best of luck to you and yours - some positive karma should come into play here considering how much you have helped others -
