What is This?? Please

by sailaway, Jul 23, 2008 09:33AM
I had a MRI last month that revealed a left occipital lesion. Doctors said it could be a dime size tumor or a demyelinating lesion, or maybe even something I have always had. . Do lesions and tumors look that much alike that they can't be differentiated? I also I've been getting some earaches and pressure in my ear, but it's in my right ear more. Could a dime size mass in the back of my head cause pain in my right ear?? My doc at MassGeneral says he just wants to watch it for now and not do anything unless it changes?
