What a downer.... well I checked with my best friend, GOOGLE, and it looks like trigger shot should be out of your system within 10 days. The nurse is probably just covering her bases. You can see from other posts on medhelp too that others got their BFP 14 days after trigger shot and it was a real BFP.

When I get my IUI's or when I administer a trigger shot, the nurse tells me to test in 14 days. Congratulations girl......it sounds like you are pregnant!!!!!

I have had a trigger shot, but for the life of me I can't remember what it is called. It isn't intermuscular shot, but it triggers ovulationLh urine test (home test) Mittelschmerz. I take it 36 hours prior to my IUI.
Keep me posted.
Griggsy-the HCG test is a blood draw and basically it tells you how much pregnancy hormone you have in your body. That hormone number is supposed to double every 48-72 hours.
Congratulations to you. You must be so excited!
Here's to a happy and healthy nine months!
Heather
Why would you get an HCG test, if you're not pg?
I'll look at the name and see what it is.
