Need Help...Please...

My husband and I are planning on getting pregnant with our 5th.  Our previous 4 were all premature.  Both boys were emergency c-sections, which includes our last child who is now 4.  Our Dr. is concerned and said that I would be considered extremely high risk because my uterine wall is thin, where my c-section scar is.  He said my wall and lining measured a combined 4mm.  He said there is no way I can go full-term and could quite possibly have a uterine rupture.  From what I've read, however, having a thin uterine wall is common after c-sections and having a uterine rupture is quite uncommon.  Is this true?  Also should mention that both emergency c-sections were due to placental problems and I hemmoraged with both. Also in between these two, I had a daughter VBAC and was induced at 36 wks.  I've had two D&C's as well.  Last one was 3 months ago, and that's when doctor discovered my thin uterine wall.  My doctor has said the only option is surgery to sew uterine wall togther, but said there are some risks.  I can't find anything on the net for this procedure.  Can anyone help and let me know the risks and whether it would be better just to have baby with thin uterine wall?  It just seems awfully risking to have another major surgery on my uterus and THEN have another baby via C-Section.  I appreciate any responses because I'm at a complete loss and my doc isn't helping much.

I don't think the placental problems or hemorraging will matter because of the scar tissue left behind by the c-sections. I have a friend who had two c-secs and she wants one more child because she heard it's risky to have more than 3 c-sections. I don't know where she heard that, though.

You could always get a second opinion!
