Thanks... I was afraid of that. With the PIO, I remember having hot flashes, so your right, I doubt it would be effectiveEffective strength cough syrup or accurate.....
I was hoping to 'cheat' a little - be able to tell if I was preggo before the beta (ie. temp. stays high....)

I did not see the point of bbt. In a naturalNatural tears cycle, your bbt goes up after you ovulate and your corpus luteum starts producing progesteroneProgesterone Serum progesterone. Since with ivf I was injecting progesteroneProgesterone Serum progesterone I did not see the point in doing bbt. I guess a triphasic bbt can give you some indication of implantation but that does not always happen and if it does happen it's around your beta time anyways.
This is just my theory...
I think with the meds the drs take over your cycle so I'm not sure if BBT can be accurate.

I did my BBTs during the second week of the 2WW because I was certain I was pregnant and had lots of other symptoms. Unfortunately, it was a BFN, and my BBT was elevated, staying between 98.2 and 98.5 degrees, and according to information I found online, that temperature is supposedly pregnancy territory. So, it turns out the progesterone I was taking elevated my BBT and lead me to believe, along with the other symptoms, that I'd be getting a BFP...I was so sad to hear I wasn't pregnant.
