confused

by Embarrassed175, Jul 23, 2008 01:31PM
hi,
I'm confused.
I've read that 90% or so "clear" genital warts usually in two years.
I've also read that untreated warts either go away, remain, or spread.
Is that 90% stat inclusive of UNtreated warts?
I've read that treatment doesn't nessacerily help "clear" the virus faster.
Am I to infer that there is a good chance that my warts will go away naturally?
In people whose warts persist, is it assumed that their immune system is failing to fell the virus into dormancy?
Or, can warts remain even after the virus has gone dorment?
