ejaculation

by jms123, Jul 23, 2008 02:17PM
I do appreciate your quick response dr. I forgot also to ask you in my previous post...every time i get an erection and precum is present...i seem to retain the precum...it does not all drip out.I used to masterbate quite frequently and am worried that that may have triggered my prostatis issue. If i ejaculate and sit down an hour later i sometimes drip precum even after ejaculation. Moving around or sitting seems to trigger this dripping.is this normal? My ejaculation also does not seem as strong as it once was.It seems as though this is also true with urination. I feel fine and after about 5 minutes...i go to sit down and a few drops of urine dribble out. any help is appreciated.

Hi,

Dribbling of urine can be caused due to an inflammation or enlargement of the prostate gland.
Similarly erectile dysfunction that can cause in delayed semen emission can be part of the complex of symptoms associated with prostatitis.

Sitting for prolonged periods of time or on inadequately padded surfaces can cause the prostate gland to become further irritated and increases the intensity of symptoms related to the prostate gland.

Avoid sitting for prolonged periods of time and prostate irritants such as caffeine, alcohol, and citrus fruits, and keep fluid intake high.

Do keep us posted on your doubts and progress.
regards
