Honesty, your questions should be directed toward the ophthalmologist seeing your son. He should be able to easily explain things to you. With young kids they can be quite farsighted and still see up close due to their amazing ability to accommodate. The problem is that they can get eyestrain and headaches and may not enjoy reading or close work because of that.
