You probably weren't shedding then.
Are you on valtrex or acyclovirAcyclovir Acyclovir topical? That can reduce the risk from about 4% a year to about 2% a year. That might help ease your mind about all this.

I wouldn't worry about tingling behind the knees, especially if you are both runners.

I'm hoping for the best... he hasnt said anything that would indicate a problem and this would be day 8.
I am not on either of those medications... mainly because I haven't had trouble with outbreaks. But, I suppose it would ease my mind a bit more should something like this happen in the future. Its nerve racking - i'd hate to subject somebody else to this!
