It has happend. There is a woman on this site that had her little boy at 24 weeks and he survived and actually just came home. I am sure it is possible and I think that the doctor should know best. I would ask a lot of questions before making a decision. I want to wish your daughter all the best,.

Not only can they live at 29 weeks they have an excellent chance. My twins were born at 26 weeks(barely) weighing 1 lb 9 ounces and 1 lb 11 ounces, at 26 weeks they had a 65% chance of survival at 28 weeks there odds are about 90% or more. My twins are now busy toddlersToddler development Toddler test Toddler test or procedure preparation, they have had no lasting problems from their prematurity.....best of luck!!!!
Also I didnt think that a half pound difference is that major I thought it was pretty common with multiples. What are the weights if you dont mind me asking?
