Worried

by Emser, Jul 23, 2008 04:44PM
Hey guys, only today have i discovered a slight swelling in my lower left hand of my abdomen. I have  14 month old so I dont think its to do with anything post pregnancy.
Its not so much a lump, but more like a line of tissue which doesnt appear to be on the other side.
I know ive made it worse by touching it all the time, but to be honest im now quite worried.
Anyone had anything like this?Should i go see my doctor?

Absolutely go see a doctor. It's probably nothing, but it's worth getting checked out. If it is by chance something serious it's better to catch it early. Good luck and keep us informed.

Thanks for your comment, i went to docs this morning, was on phone first thing, doc said its like fatty tissue, he was examining my tum for ages so think he would have picked up on anything sinister. All he said was if it should grow or become painful to go back but he seeme totally sure it was nothing bad

That's great to hear! It's better to be safe than sorry. Take care!
