small fetus at 7 weeks

i went for my 1st U/S today and all looks good except that the fetus looks closer to 5 wks. we are sure about the wks because it was w/ fertility help.  we heard a heartbeat and the sac looked good.  any thoughts?

it could be you just have a small baby.....i wouldnt be worried too much, alot of people say just getting a heartbeat is an awesome sign!

Same thing happened to me, the baby always measures smaller. He's fine.  Dont worry a lot about that.

at 7 weeks the baby is the size of a pinto bean dont stress yourself out the baby has sooooooooooo much growing to do

I wouldn't worry either. If there hadn't been a heartbeat, then you could worry.

Hey you have a little miracle in there.  Maybe your baby is just small.  Maybe he/she will catch up and end up being a big baby.  It's really too early to really worry about, there is so much time and so much growing to do.  Hang in there and don't stress.  I'd just concentrate on that little heartbeat and be happy =D
