IUI

I had my second IUI today and am concerned that too much stress maybe the reason why the first one turned into a BFN. Any insight?

Well too much of concern and stress related to TTC does affect pregnancy..at least thats what my re told me...stress releases some negative hormones in our body which are not pro pregnancy....so that is the reason why we are told to not stress out and think less about Preg...easier said than done though....

Even though many people do believe stress can lead to BFN's and fertility problems, there is no research that i've found that supports it,all research shows that it actually doesn't have an effect on fertility.. i know lots of people that got preg on their most stressful months! so its nothign that you did, just wasn't your time!  but hopefully it will be soon! : ) GOOD LUCK! I still recommend cut down on stress anyways as much as possible for your own good! : )

I'm sure stress is a factor, but I'm not sure how you can not stress.   It's all I do...  sigh.

I know people who didn't get pregnant while TTC, but do when they're not TTC.

My sister in law got pregnant on her 2nd IUI after TTC for two years.  She is now pregnant w/her 2nd w/o TTC.  

Another colleague TTC for years w/IUI & IVF.  She got pregnant while buying her home - they were too distracted TTC.
