Concerned that my child's behavior seems destructive.

My son is 3 and he seems very destructive to me.  He does things like put objects in water, that don't belong there, such as electronics.  He throws things against the wall that places nicks and dents in it.  When I tell him not to do something he does it over and over again until I remove him or it from the environment.  He runs out of the door of our house and sometimes goes next door or to the water fountain and turn it on.  He jumps up and down all the time and laughs quite often to himself when there is nothing apparently funny.  He isn't talking and was recently suggested for speech therapy.  He places objects in a strange order. For instance, he took my vacuum handle and placed a rod in it then put a rubber glove on top of it.  Kinda strange looking creature this turned out to be.  He isn't talking.  But he tries to say words.  Sometimes they sound like words then other times imitation of words.  He plays alone and with his siblings.  I can't seem to grasp his attention for longer than 5 seconds.  I'm wondering if this could be autism, or a sensory issue, or ADHD or a combination or what..

To be honest, I would be more concerned about him not talking. This appears to be a developmental delay. I imagine the other issues you are having are closely tied to that. He needs to be seen ASAP to be diagnosed. It could be any number of things including mental disability. Only a professional can make an accurate diagnosis.
