Bleeding after Lap for Endo/Adhesions

Sorry I don't have ovarian cancer but did have a lap for endo/adhesions three weeks ago.  After bleeding a week it went to brown spotting, but never really stopping. I have been on hormones regualary (not stopping) to prevent periods so any bleeding to me is a big deal.  Doctors office said normal.  Two weeks later he tells me he tore my vagina with the speculum so that accounts for some but he said the brownspotting is the uterus and I should stop the pills for one week and bleed and it will get better.  Concerned cause he mentioned last week when he examined me he saw a drop of red blood on cervix. I wondered if cutting the cervix might account for extended bleeding?
