What does a Chlamydia Blood test look for? I hear they are not accurate and are often false positive.

Well, a chlamydia antibody test can't always differentiate between the chlamydia bacteria that causes a genital infection, or other types of chlamydia, like the chlamydia bacteria that causes pneumonia.

That's why its important to have a urine or swab test done.

That will tell you if you currently have chlamydia.
