Loss of smell&taste

by lashellie1975, Jul 23, 2008 10:05PM
I have had a loss of taste&smell since Feb.2008 and I cannot seem2do anything2get it back.I seem2taste simple things like corn products, tea or gatorade but everything else i have a complete loss of taste.I think it may be related to sinuses or allergy.Iwas on prednisone zpac for 2 wks for a bronchial infection that may have been pneumonia.shortly after that i lost my taste and sense of smell gradually over time.can anyone help? i hear zinc and B12 supplements may help.I see my new doc july28 but i would like answers from people with these similar experience.
