Do I have a chance

I lost a baby last year. The doctor took my left tube. I had a ectopic pregnancy. Will I still be able to have a baby.

You might benefit from IVF and there is still hope. All the best.

I had an ectopic Jan. 08 with my right side removed.  I am now 7 weeks pg 2mro.  With having the ectopic, my RE first tried increasing my clomid for three months, but I would only produce follicles on my right side.  So I tried follistim injections the next cycle and produced four follicles on my left side--my good side.  We did two IUI's and got a BFP.   I was really worried of having another ectopic, but our 6 week ultrasound showed one baby with a heart beat so I feel much better now.  So, yes, YOU CAN STILL GET PG.  If you are not taking fertilitiy drugs and don't have ovulation issues, your body usually alternates ovualtion between your right and left sides each cylce.  So as long as you were to ovulate from your right side, you could very well get pregnant.    Good luck to you!

sorry to hear about your ectopic!   I only have one functioning ovary (plus lots of other issues too!) and we got preg on our third IUI, and like mim it was with follistim!    GOOD LUCK!! its defintely still possible without IVF! : )
