The cramps (well, mine are more like sharp pains on my lower abdomen) are sometimes unbearable. I hate to even try to turn over at night because the pain rips through my sides.
As for cramping, I have the occasional cramping, too. Did you know that around this time is when your uterus is coming up over your pubic bone? That could be what is causing the AF crampy feeling. Everything is so connected in there, and when one thing hurts, it can cause a chain reaction of pain. Sometimes it lasts longer than others, but as long as you aren't bleeding and aren't having EXTREME pain to the point where you can't function, you should be fine.
Gas is another one of those "pregnancy things" that you just have to deal with. It seems to have gotten worse for me lately, too. Especially when I'm laying in bed! Even I'm amazed that there is so much in there! I mean, where is it all coming from?? LOL
Anyway, don't worry yourself. I'm sure everything is fine.
OMG talk about gas. Everytime I eat anything or drink I am burping for like 20 mins after and at night the gas coming out the other end is BAD!!! (tmi) I feel sorry for dh and sometimes he gets annoyed, but I have no control so sorry dear!!!
Sometimes I burp without thinking about it and my dh is like "You're gettin' me hot!"
which is something he also says when I start telling him gory details about my pregnancy, like "I'm constipated" or "I feel like I need to wipe because I think I may be having some discharge".
Haha!
I don't care, if I have to endure it physically, then he can endure listening to me talk about it! LOL It's the LEAST he can do since he can't carry the baby and give birth to it!
And the gas OhYEAH all the time all day......
i am so glad that i am not the only one in this boat. I have a dr appt today and was gonna mention to the dr. just to let her know.....
Yes, this will be my first baby..but this is my 3rd Pregnancy..I've had 2 Miscarriages in the past 9 months. Thats why I freak out whenever my body cramps or I experience anything new. I try not too, but I can't help it!
I knew part of it was gas because during the night I would be so gasy (yes and weirdly enough mine are just air too, no smell!) and I wake up with gas and than I feel better. So maybe its a combination of everything. I'm sure being 12 weeks too, its a huge growth spurt for the baby and I remember my last Prenatal my doctor said your body cramps the most when your baby is growing. So that makes me feel a lil bit better! But my next Prenatal isn't until Aug 4th..so I'm definitely going to tell her about all this, but you ladies made me feel so much better, thank you!!!
It's so great that so many of us are so close in our Pregnancies! :)
As for the miscarriages, I had one last year so I know about being scared. I still freak when I feel sharp pains and cramps. Sometimes when I feel a lttle wet from discharge I check to make sure there's no blood. Dh always asks what I'm doing with a weird look on his face like I'm crazy but then I tell him I'm checking for blood and he just hugs me!
Pregnancy is wonderful and soooo scary...
