HELP! :(

by aceofspades, Jul 24, 2008 11:28AM
About a month ago I fingered a girl with a small cut that was almost healed near my index finer's top knuckle. The one that is all the way up? I was in Thailand and I'm worried because the girl was a local. She wasn't a hooker for sure and was just a normal girl but I'm still worried. I could just be being paranoid. I had sex with another girl weeks after just recently and she is experiencing some vaginal itching and some white-ish discharge. What could this be? Could I have HIV?? It could be a bacterial infection for her but where does that leave me?

Thanks.

Hi there -

No, you are not at risk for HIV, and HIV wouldn't give your partner vaginal symptoms.  If your cut was almost healed, that's not a point of entry for virus.

It sounds as if your partner has a yeast infection.

Thank you AuntieJessi. But another thing. I had another sexual partner before the girl I was with now and she also had the same symptoms after having had sex with me?

We used a condom then and it was only once. I'm pretty sure it was fully protected. But, the girl I'm currently with, we don't use a condom because she is on the pill. But, I thought that it was okay. But BOTH girls having the same symptoms of itchiness and white discharge is a bit unsettling. Any ideas? =/

You can have yeast and have no symptoms.

You just need to be seen by a doctor, as does your partner.

Could this white discharge with a slight odor and itchiness be a symptom of another STD?

She is seeing a doctor ASAP.

Sure, it could be chlamydia, but you wouldn't have gotten that from your encounter as you describe it.

She could also have bacterial vaginosis, which would have nothing at all to do with you - just one of those infections women get.

But another girl I was with also had the EXACT same symptoms =/

The chances that both suddenly got it about 4 or 5 days after being with me? Too low I think. =/ What do you guys think.

I'd say its low, but BV is pretty common.

Have YOU been tested?  If not, why not?

I am getting tested ASAP too. I think it seems like Gonorrhea or Chlamydia. Both are easily treatable right?

Yes, they are.  BV is too.
