Sac Size at 5 weeks

by Perseverant, Jul 24, 2008 12:58PM
Hi everyone,
I´m a 43 year old woman, having suffered 5 miscarriages in the last two years.  Now I am pregnant again.  My 5 week scan showed a 40mm sac.  The doctor said it "looked good", though usually the sac should measure 50mm by 5 weeks.  I´m just so scared to go through another miscarriage.  Does anyone have experience with an early small sac size "catching up" ?  Thanks!
