chest pain and feel like I have to take a breath

I am 30 yo female. On Monday I had a heart palpitation that felt like my heart was galoping. Since then I've had a dull ache or pressure feeling on the left side of my chest. I feel like I get the sensation of where it's at but it doesn't change if I push on it. At times I feel forced to take a breath. I went to Dr. today but he is going on vacation until Aug.4. He didn't feel anything urgent needed to be done in the meantime but ordered blood testing as I had similar symptoms when pregnant about 9 months ago due to anemia. Your thoughts on what this could be?
