My question is: Does schmorl's node and Thoracic outlet syndrome have anything to do with each other?

Hello Dear,
Trauma usually precipitates the formation of the Schmorl's nodes. Schmorl's nodes are defined as herniations of the intervertebral disc through the vertebral end-plate.These are common in  lower thoracic and upper lumbar levels. These nodes predispose the disc to degenerative changes and cause bulging..The disease is self-limiting and usually does not require extensive treatment. A good rehabilitation consisting of an initial rest followed by a gradual return to full activity is usually successful. Cervical nodes may be associated with thoracic outlet demonstration of  this is limited.. Compression of the neurovascular bundle, comprising the brachial plexus and the subclavian artery, will produce a mix of symptoms, ranging from pain in the shoulder and arm, to neurological and vascular symptoms. The compression usually occurs in the thoracic outlet of the neck. Pain and parasthesiae are most commonly experienced on the ulnar side of the arm.
