"Big Girl Pants"

Hey all!  Just as an update on my big girl pants - haha - you know, trying to get life insurance.....


Well - my pants fit, are buttoned, and I'm ready to go!  Ok - so that means I got my life insurance and just in time I guess since it is effective today and I have the breast nodule removed next week!

Had to laugh at the timing.  Isn't it funny what God puts in your mind at just the right moment?  Had all of this not been happening at once, I probably would have overlooked getting insurance before something bad did happen.

So - Thank you Lord - that part is done!  Oh BTW - the rate changed b/c of my family history of cancer :(, but not enough to make me decide against it.  I guess the mammo did not show up during their health background check.

Thanks all for the chat on doing the right thing when I originally posted the big girl pants thread, I guess it was the last push I needed to know I was doing the right thing! :)  Hugs all.  ---- PS - Don't tell hubby I am now insured or I might misteriously go missing during our Florida vacation if you know what I mean :)  Haha ~Kim

It is hard to do those things .. and, yes, we only realize we dn't hve the right insurance when the time comes we wish we had insurance .. as in theft.  Now you know you are good as gold and heck, you won't be needing it anytime soon .. but it's there and one less thing to stress over bcz we try to take control in our life of things we can and the rest .. well, the heck with them LOL!
