Week 13--35 to go

by msneed1friend, Jul 24, 2008 05:35PM
Hi,, I am having relationship problems with my "significant other". At the onset of the my Hep C journey is he was very supportive of this new challege in my life. My other challege is that I have Panic Anxitey Disorder. Anyway, I have just been told that I now have to have the Procrit injections. When I informed my S/O of this,i didn't feel  any "TLC' from him -He says that he has GENTRIC feelings on this subject. Please advise

Are your relationship problems confined to not feeling TLC when you mentioned going on Procrit, or is there more?  Because if that's all it is, I would let it go.  We get pretty self-absorbed during treatment and while that is understandable, it can sure strain a relationship.

Its good that you have come to this site.  People here can relate to your experience in a way no non-hepper ever can.  This is a good place to obsess over the minutia of treatment.  Whatever is happening to you its certain someone on this forum has had the same experience - you can share symptoms and side effects and hopes and fears here.  So keep on posting, it will meet your need for an outlet and support and save a lot of wear and tear on your relationship.

Good luck with your tx, and welcome to the forum.
