can you mix breastmilk and formula in the same bottle??? I am bf'ing for the next 8 weeks then my ds will be 6 mo and I am not sure how to start weaning at that time?

I think 6 mo is a good age, as I will be trying to go backBack pain - low Back strain treatment to work.. I will give him breastmilk for as long as possible but will not be pumping as regular as now! He does not want to nurse during t he day only at night.

freshly expressed breast milk lasts much, much longer than formula at room temp. if the baby starts a bottle of freshly expressed breast milk but doesn't finish, it can be put back into the fridge and rewarmed once. formula can't be. for me, it all boiled down to trying to waste as little breast milk as possible.
