breastmilk and formula?

can you mix breastmilk and formula in  the same bottle??? I am bf'ing for the next 8 weeks then my ds will be 6 mo and I am not sure how to start weaning at that time?

you can, but i personally didn't.
freshly expressed breast milk lasts much, much longer than formula at room temp. if the baby starts a bottle of freshly expressed breast milk but doesn't finish, it can be put back into the fridge and rewarmed once. formula can't be. for me, it all boiled down to trying to waste as little breast milk as possible.

you can if you want that is what ido for my 5m she gose to daycare and i want to start giving her formula and braest milk so  mix and i am going to do so intill she gets use to the taste of the formula i was told that is the best way to start weaning a baby

I think 6 mo is a good age, as I will be trying to  go back to work.. I will give him breastmilk for as long as possible but will not be pumping as regular as now! He does not want to nurse during t he day only at night.
