Byetta

I had a cervical fusion 2 years ago, during that time I have gained 30 pounds.  I have been dealing with chronic pain and several different pain meds. I've tried everything to loss the weight and nothing has helped.  I am dibectic and I take 750 mg of Metformin twice a day, and my blood sugar is still running a little high.  Two weeks ago my doctor had me to start on Byetta along with the Metformin I was already taking.  I have lost 12 pounds without even trying. I have to make myself eat.  Byetta is injectable, but it is in a pen which gives you the exact dose. It has not yet been approved for weight loss, but my doctor said that with the dramatic results people are having he said he expects it to also be used for weight lose.Has anyone else used Byetta?

You can check out the website mynht.com to find out information on hcg weight loss. It is also supposed to balance out your blood sugar so could help with diabetes. Although there are disclaimers everywhere stating that the FDA has not approved it for weight loss, I have read people's personal anecdotes that say it does. Also, on the website you can look up the book "Pounds and Inches" by a Dr. Simeon who started the work with hcg for weight loss.(The book is currently out of print but the site has a link)
