Dumb decision

by drunken_idiot, Jul 25, 2008 12:59AM
Hello Doctor.

Last Saturday night (July 19th) I was at a party, became intoxicated from alcohol, and made the very unwise choice of having unprotected sex with a random women.  During intercourse she also performed fellatio on me and I performed cunnilingus on her.  I did not ejaculate during this incident.  The women experienced pain when I penetrated her too deeply.

One to Two day after, my anus became swollen, it very much appears to be a hemorrhoid, but it seems too coincidental.  It hurts and "seems" to have gotten worse.  No blood or any other symptoms though.

After reading the posts I'm worried she could have Chlamydia or Gonorrhea.

Is what I have described a good reason to be worried/tested?

I know you get "paranoid" posts all the time, it's just I've never had unprotected sex with anyone and I am scared.  In all honesty I REALLY want to avoid having to go through the testing process unless I'm sure to be at risk.

Thank you for your patience and consideration.

*Correction*  I know this isn't the Doctor's forum.  So "Hello Anybody!"

Yeah, it's not the best idea to have unprotected sex to a stranger. But you're not the only one that this has happened to :) I would suggest you go for a full STD's scan at a local clinic. Some infections can be tested for sooner then others, 6 weeks for syphillis and 12 weeks for HIV.

I agree.  You have concern, and what's happening warrants testing.
