Could this be Syphilis

Here is my situtation,
About a two weeks ago I got hand job in a massage parlor. No sex. Past Sunday for the first time I had unprotected sex with my girl friend. After an hour or two, when I was in shower I had this intense itch on my shaft and couldn't stop scratching myself. When I turned the hot water, I had a burning sensation in the place I scratched and this when I noticed the "Spot". To me it looked like peeled skin , but wasn't sure. I stumped as nothing like this has happened to me before. This "spot" was reddish in color to start with and didn't a crater like a syphilis sore. There was no pus or clear fluid in the area. Now after days this spot has pretty much healed, the color went from reddishness to very light pink . This spot is still sensitive
Is this syphilis ..? or any other std ..? Can a person get syphilis from touching ..?...Can a syphilis sore heal by itself within 4 days ..? If my gf had yeast infection , could I get an intense itch ..?
I have never had any prior std's...I ahve always been careful with whom I have sex ...This was the only stray incident ..

Perhaps it was friction, or yeast, etc. Did you use lube? Maybe you had a reaction to that.

I have also read the syphilis is a "great imitator" and that the symptoms could be misunderstood for something else ..?
Also , if it just a peeled skin was the healing time normal ...? or too slow ...?

Take that out of the equation. You didn't get an std from that.
If your girlfriend was dry, then this could really just be from friction and irritation. Do you all use lube? You should get some good lube, like Astroglide, Sliquid, Wet, Id, etc. There are many good water based lubes you can try.
