Question about soreness on penis

Hello grace, 4 days ago I woke up to some soreness on the head of my penis (sorry dont know the scientific name) around the ring of the head. At first I just dismissed it because I figured I just slept on it and it rubbed against my underwear while sleeping. During the day I noticed the right side was sore and I then noticed on the left side some very small red bumps I mean small like pins. But the pins go all the way around the ring of the head on both sides. I got worried because I already have had an out break of fever blisters. I went to the doctor 2 days after I noticed the soreness. I showed the doctor and the PA what I had on my penis they told me it wasent anything and since 2 days of passed since I have noticed the bumps they should have turned into blisters filled with fluid. They prescribed me a anti fingus cream of some (very long name on label dont have it with me at this time).

Today after 4 days from noticing the small red bumps around the ring of my penis head the bumps have not changed at all but I still have soreness on the right side of my penis head especially when it rubs against my underwear I can feel it.

Now what about the small pin size red dot on the ring of the head of my penis would those have turned into a blister by now  a week and two days later of noticing them. I do have a docs appointment to get culture results I had done on possible Impitgo I have on my face and she rubbed the swab on the area where the skin was raw on my penis.

The flu-like symptoms that are associated with newly acquired herpes infections are not sore throats and chest congestion.  It's more along the lines of fever, photophobia, stiff neck, headaches and that general you feel like you just got run over by a truck feeling that comes along with influenza infections, not the common cold.

Any viral infection can cause cold-like or flu-like symptoms. Herpes can cause this type of reaction, I don't know what the acutual prevailance of this reaction is with regard to Herpes though.

You need to go and be seen to find out what is going on.

NO herpes doesn't cause sore throats and chest congestion - that's what the common cold does.

If this was herpes would the red bumps and the raw spot had turned into a fluid fill blister by now a week later and does a herpes break out create a sore throat and possible chest congestion??
