This most certainly sounds like complex partial epileptic seizures, i've had them for a number of year and dismissed them too, but a few weeks ago i had a general seizure and collapsed at work - Im a nurse, so it couuld have been worse but it was a very scary experience! I think you should approach your GP and a simple EEG and MRI could diagnose this and make life much easier for you!! I had a history of absence seizures as achild, basically like spacing out, but the whole thing has taught me that theses things should always be checked out. Medication is really effective and epilepsy definately doesnt have the same stigma it did many years ago.
Good luck and Take care,
Grainne
