PVCs

About a month ago I began having PVCs, sometimes trigeminy, sometimes even bigeminy, then sometimes just randomly.  They do appear to be increasing in frequency and occasionally I have had some lightheadedness.  (The PVCs were confirmed on a 24 hour holter monitor)  I am 60 years old and have a strong family history of heart disease.  Is this rhythm disturbance a warning sign of impending heart attack or could this be benign?

Will you let us know how you are doing? I am 2 yrs older than you and it seems that I get more and more PVC's all the time as I get older. I am just curious as to what your cardiologist tells you re. these, etc.
Thanks for your reply.

Just to be on the safe side, any time you notice a change in symptoms, it's best to touch base with your doctor.  PVCs in the setting of a structurally normal heart and considered benign, but your doctor may want to run a couple of tests to confirm your overall heart health is good.
