I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks and didn't even see a spot of blood didn't realize until a routine ultrasound 3 weeks later and had to get a D&C. 6 weeks later found out I was pregnant again... this time at 5 weeks I started bleeding bright red blood worse than a period for 5 weeks straight almost every day. My daughter is now 8 months old and as healthy as can be. I know that after a miscarriage it is SO hard to stop worrying that something is going to go wrong. If you are afraid or worried at anytime contact your doctor just so that you can listen to the heartbeat. Or look online and try renting/buying a doppler. I bought one when I was 10 weeks because I was so afraid that something would go wrong and I cannot explain to the relief to be able to listen to your little ones heartbeat when you are worried. Best feeling in the world. :) Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy!
I went to the hospital and the doc told me alot of women spot between weeks 7-11 because of the changing hormones around those weeks that cause increased blood flow in the cervix.
So as long as you're not bleeding red, and aren't cramping really bad, you shouldn't worry.
But you said you've had problems around that time before- so I'd suggest just keeping in touch with your doctor and carefully monitor yourself and take it easy.
Best of luck!
