skin rash on arms

Hello, I have had this for a while. I went through an unsuccesful icsi treatment where I took large doses of stimulation drugs. It's during the treatment when I realized an awful rash on both my arms from wrist to shoulder. They do not itch at all, however they are red and often have white "head" puss inside them, which when squeeze it comes up like a pimple. They are raised, red and/or tanned and sometimes look like clogged pores. When I excercise and sweat they feel quite hot and a little burning. Can you please give me an idea what this could be? I have now started to dry brush my skin towards my heart in hope that I can help,if it is toxins, to get out of my skin. But I have now had this for many months and I am very concerned.

Hi,

Another pimple like lesion could be folliculitits, whish is an inflammation of the hair follicle. The blockage usually responds to warm compresses and also resolves on its own after a few day. Are there other signs or symptoms present? Let us observe for a couple of days and if it still persists, it would be good to see your doctor for further evaluation and management. A complete physical  examinationmust be performed to be able to reach a complete diagnosis, which is difficult to do over the internet.

Take care and regards.

Thank you very much for your reply. However, the rash doesn't itch at all. It looks like acne sometimes or blocked pores. I have tried cotton clothing, but can you please recommend anything that I might try to get rid of this? will this ever go away?

Hi,

Miliaria or prickly heat is an itchy and red skin rash which often causes a stinging, or prickling, sensation. It often occurs when you sweat more than usual due to a hot or humid climate. Excessive sweating can cause your sweat glands to become blocked, which can trap sweat underneath your skin. This causes irritation and results in a red rash developing. The symptoms of prickly heat tend to appear after a few days of being exposed to hot temperatures. The rash is normally made up of tiny spots, or bumps, surrounded by a patch of red skin. Sometimes, the spots look like tiny blisters. The rash can affect any part of your body, but most commonly appears on your:back, abdomen, neck, upper chest, groin, armpits, hands, or feet.

Most rashes will disappear naturally after a few days. But it is important to avoid excessive heat and humidity. Wear loose cotton clothing and by keeping your skin cool by taking a bath often. Take care and keep us posted.
