Over two weeks ago I had fluid drawn out of my left knee at the hosptial. This had come about by finding my knee the day before had swollen up twice it's size and me limping for the rest of the day. I went to the surgen and found the results of the blood test revealed nothing. The doctor then advised a MRI for later that day. The MRI results found nothing. When the doctor asked if I had any pain still I advised him that I indeed still have some pain. He bent my left knee three times and asked If I hearda "clicking" noise. I said "yes" and he also told me that he had heard it too. He is now advising me to have my knee "scoped" and have surgery. I want to knw what the "clicking" noise is. My knee has a sharp pain in the middle of the cap of my knee. Thank you.
