wearing temporaries

I am wearing temporaries at the moment and they do not feel very un-comfortable, they feel high and I seem to make contact at the front section without the molars at the back touching it feels a little as if  I am wearing a small mouth guard.  are the temporaries like a mouth guard that you slip your own teeth into?

I'm wearing temporaries right now as well.  It's been 11 days for me and, yeah at first, they really suck.  I went back for 2 adjustments and finally got the bite correct.  This helped a great deal but even so they still feel a little like wearing a mouth guard.  Your bite however should feel natural even with the temporaries.

Either way, just do what I do and keep in mind that they're 'temporary'.

Going back to your restorative dentist to have more occlusal adjustment is avised.
