Problem with nose

Lately I have figured out that there is a lump inside my left nostril. I tried talking to my doctor but he speaks english fairly poorly and have probably mistaken my problem (all he offered me runny nose medications). The bump is fairly big and it is causing me difficulty in breathing through my left nostril. I've been reading about people with cyst and such. Could the bump i have possibly be cyst? If it is is there any over the counter medication that are recommended?

I also have a pea sized white growth in my nose I am concerned due to the fact I used to snort drugs from a verity of things. I am concerned that somthing is wrong with my nasal septum could this be the case or could it be somthing else I have had this for about a year or so and have never had it checked afraid of what I have done to myself. Could this be serious or am I over reacting.
Thanks

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,

Nasal polyps result from chronic inflammation in the lining of the nose or sinuses. The cause, however, is not clewar but ithas been linked to allergies. Are there other signs r symptoms present? Medications are the most common treatment for small nasal polyps. If you have one or more small polyps, your doctor is likely to prescribe a corticosteroid nasal spray which may relieve inflammation, increase nasal airflow and may help shrink polyps. For larger growths, surgery may be indicated. Polyps have a tendency to recur. It would be best to have it evaluated by a specialist (ENT) for proper management.

Take care and keep us posted.
