TO CLEAR SINUSES & SPUTUM STUCK IN THE THROAT:

1. Try the spiciest chicken soup on the plant ! (from a restaurant called PF Changs. If you don't have one locally, try adding red pepper flakes to your chx soup recipe)

2. Chkout this article "Avoiding Phlegm in Your Throat":

I know exactly what you're talking about. I too have this, but I have it all the time, not just at a certain time of year. I too have been to doctor after doctor. Has anyone suggested to you it could be GERD? They told me that, but the medicines never did work for me, but maybe they would for you. If you don't know what it is try putting it in the search here and check it out, one of the big symtoms of GERD is mucus in throat. If you've gone that route already the things that helped loosen it for me was club soda w/ a lime or a gingerale. Someone said liquid benedryl and mylanta a teaspoon of each. There is always steam that helps too. Boil water and put your head over it (I put a towel over my head) and breath in the steam. You probably have tried all of this too, but thought I'd make a few suggestions. I can't figure it out for me either. Eating bothers it too for some reason, but I still try to eat, I just don't do dairy foods.
Hope you can find an answer and if you do, let me know.....
