hi my name is rubi and i would like to ask you a question

i have 18 years old. I have 3 years that i havent had a period. I waited 3 years to go to the gynecologo because i m virgen. Finaly when we went to vacations to mexico i went to  the doctor. He  found a tumor in my ovary. The ovary was removed. the question that i have is it possible to became sterile because i have had so much time without a period. i have 1 month and a half since i had surgery and i still havent had a period. the doctor told me to take lutoral and mercilon.
