Normal to experience pain with new partner?

by gloomysunday, Sep 24, 2008 07:58PM
just got out of a lengthy relationship (it's been years since i've been with someone else), but iw as quite promiscuous before my relationship, so am pretty experienced.  i don't feel like i've ever had this much pain before.  i have a new partner now, who i have had intercourse with multiple times unprotected.  my ex and i had sex very infrequently, but it was much harder pressure and a larger penis with my ex - this new guy's not as strong and is smaller.  i never experienced this kind of painw ith my ex, but we also would only have sex for about 3 minutes and then he would *** really fast...this new guy can go for a long time and multiple times a night - which we have been doing.

we had sex 2 nights ago, probably like 3 or 4 times that night until morning.  i still hurt just as bad and maybe worse today  than i did yesterday, and have been looking at the symptoms of herpes.  i meet many of them, but i know they can also be caused by other things.  my vagina is normally bumpy, it's kind of just the texture of it, all skin colored and not painful.  this morning i took a mirror to it and noticed little white bumps around the rim of the opeing.  could be from abrasion, could just be irritated, right?  i am seeing a doc tomorrow, but am obviously stressed out as to what it could be and wanted some immediate feedback.  my inner thighs are sore, which could just be due to the sex...im worried.

been in your shoes...my guess is it all depends on what you mean by pain? sore, burning, ichy, tender...ya know what i mean?  I was in a serious relationship  and towards the end the sex dwindled. My ex was on the small side and we had short sack sessions maybe once a week.  I ve recently been w/ a new guy.  He is a lot larger and has a quick rebound rate if you know what I mean.  Ya gotta remember, sex is a LOT of motion and friction!! which can easily and often does lead to tenderness, soreness and redness. I know its sometimes hard to say, but maybe too much of a good thing isnt good at all.  Cut back a bit on the sex, but obviously wait for the dr's input

You need to go and be seen to have this evaluated. Pain during sex isn't normal and you have new symptoms that you never had before so going for an exam is the best course of action.
