Announcing TWO pregnancies to mom!

So I found I was pregnant on Sept 30... and this morning my sister got  BFP too!! Wewere both in our first full month of trying and are in shock that we both appear to be fertile myrtles and will be due within 7 days of each other!!!  We are so excited to go through it all together... a little nervous about being able to attend each other's deliveries, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there :-)  These little cousins will be so close!!

So anyway, It's my sister's #2 and my first.  We're celebrating her daughter's birthday this weekend and also having a belated birthday celebration for our mom.  We want to tell our mom this weekend... so how do we go about telling her that BOTH her daughters are pregnant?!

Any creative suggestions and fun ideas welcome!  What a once in a lifetime opportunity!

aww congrats to you both I am so jealous =] I want me and my twin sister to have babies within days or weeks of each other. anyways BTS has really great ideas, since your having a birthdy party you can gather everyone together to take a group photo. Take the first picture, asking them to "Say Cheese!" Then, for the second photo, say, "Everyone say something like, you sisters name and I are pregnant!" Take a quick picture you'll get a great, stunned look on everyone's faces =]

or you both can wear a tee shirt that says baby on board or something to that effect.

you can get a calendar and put both of you due dates on it i don't know i'm not that creative

BTS has really good ideas like I said before =] i'm just not one with a creative mind i'm just blah but i'm sure anyone here can give you really great ideas =]

You could always write in marker on your bellies We're Pregnant, or Happy Birthday Grandma...have 1 word on your belly and one on your sis's belly, and lift your shirt to reveal the news? OR You could each get a teddy bear and tie the BFP tests on it with a bow?

I know a bunch of creative ways of telling the news. I did a few for my dad and my hubby, I had a tattoo artist airbrush ultrasound pic on my belly for the hubby on fathers day, when I got my BFP with my youngest son.

When I got my BFP with this baby, hubby was in the bathroom brushing his teeth, and I just told him to *keep brushing daddy* lol. He didn't quite get it until he seen the test.

You could do pick a hand game for her birthday. You can buy little itty bitty plastic babies at walmart in the baby shower/birthday section, and have her pick a hand on you and pick a hand on your sis, and either hand she picks there is a baby in?

I have tons of ideas, so if you want some more feel free to email me. I just helped my girlfriend tell her DF. Her DF is an avid video game player like my DH, so we put her BFP and ultrasound pic in a new video game, and thats the first thing he seen when he opened the video game case. He was super excited once he *figured* it out lol.
