Dear all,

Do anybody healed from Hashimotto, just by changing lifestyle and suplement intake rather than taking any hormones? If yes could you share your story with me, please?

Best wishes

Not likely that Hashimoto's resolves on its own -- the thyroid function can normalize (if the abnormality was mild), but the inflammation in the thyroid is not likely to go away.

In that case what would you recommend me to do?

My last Thyroid peroxidase was  1111.8 iu/ml (0-60)
My last three TSH were: 4.4; 6.5 and 3.9
My last T3 was 4.4 pmol/L (3.5 - 6-7)
My last T4 was: 12.1 pmol/L

My basal temperature has been very low, with major ups and downs, however within the last 2 weeks have been much better, between 97o to 97.5.

My GP and Consultant recommend me to wait until my TSH goes above 10 and then start with artificial thyroxine.

Please, let me know your opinion on this?

I look forward to hearing from you again

Kindest regards
