Nitetime arm numbness and tingling

I have started having arm numbness at nite.  At first I thought I had slept on it wrong, however,  now it takes forever after I am up for it to go away.  In fact in lasts about an hour after arising.  What can the problem be?

I am having the same problem, at night when I'm sleeping my right arm goes numb and tingles, from above my elbow down to my fingers, the thumb has the worst numbness, so far it only happens at night, and not every night yet, it just happens when ever it wants to, do anyone have any answers?

i am having the same sort of problem, although mine sometimes carry's on all throughout the day, sometimes does sometimes doesnt't. It is the right arm and it feels kinda wierd or stiff. i cant describe the situation. it has been like it for a few week now and happens every night. dont know what to do, i have surfed the net but found no answers, my dr is stumped too.
