pimple on nipple

I have had a pimple on my right nipple for a long time at least 2 years, i noticed it after i got a new bra. I pop it and a substance with the consisticy of wet toilet paper comes out, at one time it had a green tint and was followed by a little blood. I quit wearing a bra for a few months and it almost went away I thought it was better and started wearing a bra again and now it's back. I am 41 years old and getting very worried. I have some Bacitracin-polymixin and was wondering if it was o.k. to apply some on my nipple? It is for skin infection's I do not have insurance. I would appreciate any advice ( i know I should have it checked) but has anyone had any similar experiences that may put my mind at ease?  Thank you so much for your time. (I am a pet groomer and thought maybe a hair got in there but it's been so long i'm not quite sure thats possible now)

I did'nt notice a real bad smell. Kind of musty. I have pain all around my breast after squeezing. I had quit a bit of pain before it came back, but with the kind of work I do I overuse my arm and the pain seems to go away with rest. Thank you for your reply.

When you popped the pimple did you happen to smell anything that resembled rotted feet? If so then it is a cyst but nothing to worry over.  The green tint and blood could have been from the cyst getting infected from popping it. I have similar one under my breast thats been there for years you can get them removed with a local but thats easy for me to say as I live in Canada and its free for any procedure that I need.
