concern with "Why is my neck sore" and what do the test results mean

For the past few years I have experienced a few thyroid issues., this started in 2002.  I took a very low dose of synthroid, I quit taking this medicine (I can't remember), but as the years went on I gained weight, tired etc.  I recently went in to the Dr. in January of this year. same issue,,,I could not lose weight, I was tired and my neck was sore.  My levels were recently tested and my levothroxin increase to 75mcg.  I january I was stared on 25mcg

I have NO idea what my test results mean,.. the fact I am still get "overwhelming" tired. And my neck is sore. I get tired of hearing it looks fine, I don't think my neck should feel sore.  Is there a connection and what do these results mean?   I have lost some weight 20 pounds but it has NOT been easy. I do mild exercise, don’t smoke or drink 48 years old, weight 157..

Trust me I asked.  I just get that I suffer from a thyroid hypothyroidism.

You have hashimoto's thyroiditis -- the most common cause of hypothyroidism.  The recent increase in levothyroxine was appopriate with the TSH of 15.11.  Sometimes the thyroid can be sore/painful with this -- over time it usually improves.  There are other causes of neck pain as well -- an ENT evaluation can sometimes help sort these out, but usually the primary doctor is most appropriate.
